Wimbledon champ is out

There wasn’t much love for the women champions at French Open 2015.
The defending French Open champion, Maria Sharapova, got defeated and then the 2014 wimbledon champ also went “au revoir”.

Petra Kvitova was, surprisingly, defeated by Timea Bacsinszky from Switzerland who is barely seeded as number 23. But she went all out and won 2-6, 6-0, 6-3 and went for the first time into the quarter finals.

There she faced Alison Van Uytvanck and defeated her.
