Federer Fighting Fit

Roger Federer has returned to court for his first training session since sustaining an injury in January. The injury that Federer suffered was a torn meniscus, which then led to the Swiss star requiring surgery on his right knee. The surgery was carried out on February 3rd and was a huge success, with Federer now aiming for a return to the ATP tour by the end of March. The world number 3 tweeted that he has “rarely felt so happy being back on a practice court” along with a picture of his session, which can be seen below. The torn meniscus and resulting surgery forced Federer to miss the whole of February and meant he had to withdraw from the World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship. He is now hoping for a quick return to full fitness and is itching to get back on the tour to challenge Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic at the top of the rankings. Will the Swiss great still be a force to be reckoned with on his return or will this injury slow down the Fed Express? We will let you know when the Swiss star will be returning to tournament play and how he gets on when that time finally...

US Open 2015: Aftermath

Despite our expectations, Serena Williams did not manage to beat Roberta Vinci in the semifinals which means she did not win this edition of US Open. Serena was set as the big favorit in this match so it came as a surprise to everyone. When you compare stats between the two it’s quite obvious why it was such a chock: Vinci has lost 24 matches in 2015 whileas Serena Williams has lost 22 matches in the past 10 year! Even more frustrating, the italian Roberta Vinci got beaten in the semifinals by Flavia Pennetta another Italian tennis player. We hope you enjoyed our us open live streaming services. Come back soon for Davis Cup 2015 Live Stream. On the Men’s Singles side it is a lot less surprising to see the legendary Novak Djokovic as winner of Us Open 2015. In deed, Roger Federer did his best however still got defeated by Djokovic. Federer had the following to say: “I’m pleased with how my game’s at. I feel that it’s still moving in the right direction and that is thanks to a great team. They make me work hard in a good way. I love the sport. I have a lot of passion. I’ll see you guys next...

Federer: oldest champion in 45 years

US Open has been an excellent example of how 30 is the new 20. In any case the tournament is being dominated by players who have reached a rather “elderly” age. It is especially the “old” female tennis players that have kept the lead since three of the four semi finalists have passed their youth period. On the gentlemens side, Roger Federer has been playing like a senior and has lead our thoughts into that time where no one could touch him on top of the tennis hierarchy. Should he go on to win US Open he would then become the oldest winner in 45 years. This has been a rare occasion, where older players reach these stages. The last player over 30 who won Us Open was Pete Sampras who, 27 days after his 31st birthday, was holding the trophy at the Arthur Ashe Stadium back in 2002. This year Federer has just turned 34 years old so there is still time for him to get the title while being the oldest winner ever. Ken Rosewall currently detains this record, when he in 1972 won Australian Open while being 37 years old. Two years previously he also became the oldest winner of US Open when he was 35 years old. In the Us Open semifinals Roger Federer will be facing Stanis Wawrinka – this will be an epic match and you can watch it by Live Streaming Us Open...

Andy Murray on losing streak

Andy Murray has now lost an incredible 10 times against arch nemesis Roger Federer. Last time Andy Murray won over him was during the 2013 Australian Open. According to some, britains favorite tennis player must change his strategy if he is to beat Federer. It’s been a lot of ups and downs for Murray as we must remember that he beat the worlds number one in Montreal recently. One could attribute his severe losses to him spending double the hours on court than his opponent yet and Roger Federer said he did use Andy Murray’s mental fatigue in order to beat him. If anything is certain, we will experience a very intense US Open 2015 and you can Live Stream Andy Murray right...

Nadal defeated once again

This has not been Rafael Nadals best season and now, he has been knocked out of yet another tournament. We’re talking of course about the grand ATP Masters in Cincinnati where all the big shots are competing for their ranks before it all goes down at US Open. The left-handed player lost to Feliciano Lopez in three sets with 5-7, 6-4, 7-6, and there wasn’t any silly excuses at the end of the match: I was there during the whole match with the right intensity, with the right attitude, doing the things that I have to do, trying to be more aggressive, trying to go to the net more often, that’s what I did. But today I played against an opponent that played a fantastic match, I think. Lopez is now going up against Roger Federer that has previously won the tournament six times before. Both Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray are ready for the quarterfinals. You can watch Andy Murray Live Streaming or Novak Djokovic Live Streaming right here. We’ll post the Streaming links right before US Open. Do remember that these services are legal and completly worry free....

Murray wins in Montreal

On paper, this Rogers Cup final seemed like an impending defeat for Andy Murray, as he had to face the world’s number one, Novak Djokovic. An impossible win for the Scotsman that had previously lost all his last eight duels versus the notorious Djokovic. His latest victory was during the Wimbledon finals all the way back in 2013. But this time things happened differently, ninth time is the charm one could say as Murray won in three set with 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. All in all this was the ninth time that Murray got away with a win against the powerful Serbian tennis player that has won 19 matches in total against him. This victory means that he went up in the Rankings at a comfortable second place taking Roger Federer’s place as he did not compete in Rogers Cup. With this great achievement, Andy Murray has the best possible start on US Open that will begin by the end of the...
